ジャズギターの基本から応用まで、体系的に学べるオンライン講座です。

楽器の構え方やチューニングといった基礎の基礎からスタートし、ジャズに欠かせないコードやスケールの理論を丁寧に解説。さらに、ペンタトニックやビバップスケールを学び、有名なジャズスタンダード曲を題材に実践的なインプロビゼーションを習得します。

巨匠ウェス・モンゴメリーの奏法やコードの再構築（リハーモナイゼーション）といった高度なテクニックもカバーし、初心者から一歩進んだ演奏を目指す方まで、幅広く楽しんでいただける内容です。

ジャズの基本的な言語を学びます。このコースは、正しいギターの構え方やチューニングといった基礎から始め、ジャズに不可欠なコード（M7、M7b5など）やスケール、そして「スウィング」のリズムへと素早く発展させます。
音楽の背後にある理論を理解します。単に弾き方を学ぶだけでなく、その理由も学べるようにカリキュラムが構成されています。コードとスケールの関係性、コードトーンの使い方、ダイアトニックコードや2-5-1、リズムチェンジといった一般的なコード進行の構造を学びます。
必須のジャズスケールを習得します。このコースでは、インプロビゼーションに不可欠なメジャー、マイナー、ミクソリディアン、ドリアン、そしてビバップスケールを段階的に導入します。また、オルタードスケールやブルーノートを使って、音楽に「色彩」と緊張感を加える方法も学びます。
学ぶだけでなく、実践を通して習得します。このコースは実践的な応用に重点を置いています。各レッスンでは、「C Jam Blues」から「Confirmation」まで、有名なジャズスタンダードを練習曲として使用します。曲のメロディー、コード、そして特定のコードチェンジ上でのインプロビゼーション方法を学びます。
インプロビゼーションスキルを向上させます。このコースは、シンプルなフレーズから始め、より複雑なソロへと発展させる段階的なアプローチを提供します。単にリックをコピーするのではなく、自分自身の音楽的なアイデアを生み出すための様々な練習を行います。
他のミュージシャンを伴奏する方法を学びます。コースの重要な部分として「コンピング」（伴奏）があり、リズムとハーモニーのサポートを提供しつつ、「合いの手」やカウンターメロディーを弾く方法を学びます。
